Carving Wax is a Ferris Brand, File-A-Wax Rod, wax may be hand carved as well as machined. This carving wax round bar is formulated to the demanding specifications of professional Model Wax Carvers.

The Purple is a Medium Grade carving wax may be used for model making with CNC Cad operated machines, a wax that can be easily cast by the Lost Wax Casting Process.  

Green:    Hard – Cannot be flexed.

Purple:   Medium – Regular Grade – Has some flexibility.

Blue:      Soft – Will bend 90 degrees on a 1/8″ thickness.

Melting Point:    For all is approximately 240°F / 115.6°C
